CLEAR ALIGNERS

Invisalign Consultation

What is CLEAR ALIGNER?

If you're seeking a solution for achieving a straighter smile without the noticeable appearance of traditional metal braces, CLEAR ALIGNER might be the answer you're looking for. CLEAR ALIGNER, also known as Invisalign® employs a series of transparent aligners to gradually straighten your teeth. Each aligner makes slight adjustments to your teeth, necessitating replacement approximately every two weeks. Typically, patients undergo treatment with 12 to 15 sets of aligners, though the exact number may vary based on individual circumstances. Some individuals may require more sets, while others may require fewer.

CLEAR ALIGNER is particularly effective for addressing minor to moderate orthodontic concerns. However, in cases of severe orthodontic issues, CLEAR ALIGNER may not be suitable. Traditional metal braces offer a dependable alternative capable of correcting a wide range of bite irregularities. To determine the most suitable treatment option for your specific needs, we encourage you to schedule a consultation with us today.

CLEAR ALIGNER vs. Metal Braces

CLEAR ALIGNER offers a series of transparent aligners that are worn over your teeth. Unlike conventional metal braces, these aligners are removable and replaced every two weeks throughout your treatment.

Traditional metal braces, with their fixed brackets and wires, can create challenges with food particles becoming trapped and hinder effective teeth cleaning. Neglecting thorough oral hygiene while wearing metal braces can lead to staining upon their removal. In contrast, CLEAR ALIGNER eliminates the need for fixed wires and brackets, thus alleviating concerns about food getting stuck. Additionally, you can smile confidently without feeling self-conscious about visible metal in your mouth. The process of placing and removing CLEAR ALIGNER is seamless and convenient, and they can be easily taken out before meals or social occasions. Even when worn, they are discreet and blend naturally with your smile.

Procedure Overview

As your treatment progresses, each new set of aligners will include slight adjustments. Initially, you might notice that a new set feels slightly different as your teeth adapt to the aligner's shape. CLEAR ALIGNER treatment is gradual, with each aligner focusing on moving a few specific teeth at a time. Your dentist or orthodontist will monitor your progress regularly and provide you with new sets of clear aligners based on your current advancement.

While most teeth respond well to the pressure exerted by the aligners, some may require additional assistance. Your dentist or orthodontist can apply attachments to certain teeth to aid in their movement. These attachments consist of small dots of bonding resin applied to specific teeth and cured with a special light. These dots enhance contact with the aligner, exerting extra force on teeth that may be resistant to shifting. The process of adding and later removing these bonding resins is straightforward and does not necessitate anesthesia.
